In the ancient writings of Ezra, the scribe, we read: "Ezra had determined to study and obey the Law of the LORD and to teach those decrees and regulations to the people of Israel" (Ezra 7:10 NLT).In the New Testament, the theme continued. Paul’s words to the church in Colossae continue to resound in today’s skeptical culture: “See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ” (Col. 2:8).  So what’s a Christian to do?
