Description
In this week’s episode of Podcast from Washington, NACCHO government affairs team members Ian Goldstein and Adriane Casalotti discuss the looming deadline to pass a continuing resolution to fund the government by the end of the fiscal year on September 30, while also lifting the debt ceiling before a default. They also discuss the Food and Drug Administration’s authorization of COVID-19 booster shots for those over 65, or over 18 and immunocompromised. Later in the program, Ian speaks with the authors of Broke in America: Seeing, Understanding, and Ending U.S. Poverty, by Colleen Shaddox and Joanne Goldblum.
