Description

As 2020 comes to an end, Poetry in Motion and Allez Les Rouges join forces for the annual Christmas special. Neil Fitzmaurice is in the chair with Peter Hooton, Kieth Culvin, John Nicolson and Ste Monaghan alongside to look back on a 12 months never to be forgotten. As Liverpool secured their first league championship in 30 years, the panel remember the title win, and crucially the role of Jurgen Klopp as manager in taking the Reds back to the top, as well as paying credit to captain Jordan Henderson. They also assess how well the youngsters who have been blooded into the first team this season during the Reds' title defence have done, and discuss the upcoming January transfer window and whether or not defensive reinforcements are needed following the injuries to the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez.
