வம்ச விருத்தி - சிறு கதை தொகுப்பிலிருந்து ஒரு சிறு கதை . ஆசிரியர் அ. முத்துலிங்கம்

----ஒரு பெண் ஒருவனுக்காக தன்னை செம்மைப் படுத்துகிறாள் என்ற நினைவு அவனுக்கு எவ்வளவு களிப்பூட்டும்! அன்று தனிமையில் இருவரும் நெடுநேரம் கதைத்துக் கொண்டு இருந்தார்கள். அடுத்த நாள் அவன் வெளிநாடு போவதாக இருந்தான். அன்று எப்படியும் தன் காதல் மாளிகையின் மேல் கதவைத் தட்டுவது என்ற தீர்மானத்தோடுதான் அவன் வந்திருந்தான். மனத்தில் துணிவு இருந்த அளவுக்கு கையில் பலமில்லை. கடைசியில் பிரியும் சமயத்தில், மைமலான அந்த மழை நாளில் ஒரு மூலையில் அவளை தள்ளிக் கொண்டு போய் வைத்து, உத்தேசமாக அவள் இதழ்களை தேடி ஒரு முத்தம் பதித்துவிட்டான். பெட்டைக்கோழி செட்டைகளைப் படபடவென்று அடிப்பதுபோல் அவள் இரண்டுகைகளாலும் அவன் கழுத்தைக் கட்டி உதறினாள். அவள் தள்ளினாளா அல்லது அணைத்தாளா என்பது கடைசிவரை அவனுக்கு தெரியவில்லை.

பிளேனில் பறக்கும்போது அவளுடைய சிந்தனையாகவே இருந்தான். விமானத்தில் யோசித்து வைத்து பதில் எழுதும்படி அவள் ஒரு விடுகதையும் சொல்லியிருந்தாள். அவர்களடைய காதலுக்கும் அதற்கும் சம்பந்தம் இருக்கிறதாம்.
