Betsy King is a former professional golfer for 28 years from 1977-2005. She is the winner of six LPGA Major Championships including the U.S. Women's Open in 1989 and 1990 and the Women's PGA Championship in 1992. She was named the LPGA Tour Player of the Year three times (1984, 1989, 1993) and inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1995.  After retirement, King took a trip to Africa in 2006 that changed her life forever and formed Golf Fore Africa in 2007, a non-profit that partners with World Vision to bring help and hope to women and children in communities throughout Africa.  Today on the podcast, we talk to Betsy about her illustrious golf career, being a follower of Christ on the golf course, her favorite moment as a golfer and her desire in retirement to serve and help those overseas with Golf Fore Africa.  Looking for a great gift idea?
