Description

2015 was a hell of a year for Phish. We attempt to do it justice in Episode 74, with great group of guests joining us for this 3-part episode. Each part touches on a different theme, with Part 1 focused on the new material that was released this year (tracks below, discussion of music starts around 49:00). Part 2 will focus on the evolution of improvisation in 2015, and Part 3 will just be some jams we think you shouldn't miss. Part 3 will just be music without discussion. We appreciate Allie, Chris, Zac and Dianna joining us for this really fun discussion. This past year was a little different for Phish. Fewer shows, no Fall tour, Trey guest starring in Fare Thee Well shows, Magnaball, and another glorious New Year's run at Madison Square Garden. And even though we got fewer shows, we all agreed that almost every show had something special. We talk a lot about how this year fits into the band's history, and where they go from here. If you haven't yet, please take our quick survey about how we can improve the podcast.
