In the lead up to LDI in Las Vegas this November, TheatreArtLife is catching up with some of the companies who are exhibiting at the conference. Today on the show we have Ford Sellers who is the Senior Product Development Manager for Chauvet Professional. Chauvet provides lighting equipment across multiple entertainment sectors, including concerts, stage and event productions, touring, theatres, hospitality venues, cruise ships, clubs, houses of worship, television and “archtainment”.
Ford oversees product engineering, technical writing teams and works with the Product Development team to bring new products to market. He also works with the Marketing Department ensuring that all marketing materials are on point and works directly with manufacturing partners to solve technical issues and negotiate prices. His specialties include; moving light programming and control, video integration, theatrical lighting design, purchasing, technical support, education, contract negotiation and marketing.
