Welcome back to the Rock 'n Roll Ghost Podcast. On this week's episode, the Ghost speaks with actor Jose Maria Yazpik about his return to the role of Amado Carrillo Fuentes on Narcos: Mexico's final season, debuting today on Netflix. Yazpik details the complicated situation of identifying with a real life character who did, and was a part of, many things that were evil and violent. 
The character of Fuentes was first seen in the third and final season of the original Narcos series. On Narcos: Mexico he starts off simply as a pilot before rising to the top of the ranks in season three. Yazpik discusses the impact that drugs and corruption have had in his home country of Mexico, as well as the love and respect he has for it. 
The actor gives a sneak peek into his role in Apple TV+'s upcoming series Now and Then. He also has a supporting role in the upcoming film The Jesuit, opposite Brian Cox and Tim Roth with a screenplay by Paul Schrader (Taxi Driver, First Reformed). as well as in Eureka, where he co-stars alongside Viggo Mortensen.
