Description

“Life is for living.” Emmanuel Ovola
The zest and curiosity for life and running is summed up in this quote from the conversation with Emmanuel. Known to others as Nike running coach Manni.
We speak about what it took for him to run a sub 3 marathon. His current running goals, and his thoughts on running, and the lessons it’s taught him.
Emmmanuel is a passionate Physiotherapist, running coach and believer in diversity. He’s the founder of cultural health club an organisation supporting minority Physiotherapists through their career and promoting health and disease prevention in minority communities. This is also inexplicably linked to his running collective London select, the younger generations have a role to play in all of this and he believes promoting of running in the black community is part of the journey.
Emmanuel runs his own practice whilst also being part of the well established organisation Pure Sports Medicine in London.
You can follow him on Instagram at @manni_o
