Steven Roberts joins me to discuss why stoicism is so powerful for members of the military and how we can use stoicism to overcome trauma and adversity. Listen in as we explore why stoicism is so closely connected to the military, how modern cognitive therapy is linked to stoicism, and how you can you use your own self-knowledge to move forward from past trauma.
Steven Roberts is an infantry veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He currently works as a government contractor and global contingency theaters to include central Asia and Latin America. Mr. Roberts was at the Pentagon during the September 11th attacks and operates a social media page dedicated to veterans and the application of stoic philosophy.
