Nobody stays on top forever, but the most interesting artists in music history have made the most admirably crazy kinds of noise on the way down. And what better example, really, than Marvin’s batshit-crazy 1978 double album divorce masterpiece “Here, My Dear.” Featuring special guest David Ritz, author of “Divided Soul: The Life Of Marvin Gaye” and co-author of Marvin’s biggest hit "Sexual Healing,” in Marvin Gaye Part III we are treated to a staggering, almost Zapruder-like reconstruction of the very moments that wound up leading to the career comeback he was fortunate to experience before his untimely end. Not to be missed.
