The New York Islanders didn't play Islanders style hockey and lost to the Buffalo Sabres 6-3. The Isles allowed 40 shots on goal and had too many defensive breakdowns to win this hockey game. Kyle Palmieri responded and scored twice and Anders Lee played well, but again there were too many passengers and not enough passion to earn the two points. We have our key takeaways from this game.
