Attack on Titan went back to basics in this episode as we saw plenty of Tighty Fighty and "we gotta make some bad decisions" just like in the days of yore and Connie gets his own personal villain arc as he goes to help his mommy while the march continues (even if that march is at a wonderful 10 frames per second). After the hype beast that was the previous two episodes, can this we even hope to measure up? Maybe.
