We know personally that caregiving isn't solely the responsibility of the women.  But if you make the decision to be a caregiver as a woman you are often overlooked in the workplace for the time you have taken to be with your family. We know that this is ultimately incorrect as the skills gained as a mother are those of leadership, and are sorely needed in places of work.It shouldn't be a zero-sum game. As of now, it's somewhat a "doomed if you do, doomed if you don't" scenario. In the end, motherhood and caregiving is a far more complex topic than we have been led to believe.
