Description
+++ HANDS UP +++
In general I do not like to admit to my weaknesses. I know what they are and I know the feelings generated whenever my weaknesses are exposed. One thing I can tell you, it doesn't feel good.
Because I know what they are and how I feel when they are exposed, I try my best to work on overcoming, strengthening, or compensating for them to save face.
The last thing I want to do is raise my hands, acknowledging that I'm lacking in an area I think I should not be lacking in.
How silly is that.
When I went back to college to get my masters degree, wasn't that an acknowledgment that I was lacking in an area and needed to strengthen it with more education? Think about it.
So it is in leadership. There might be some things you are lacking that would make you a more effective leader. What could they be? Take a listen to this episode of The Kingsley Grant Show.
