Bill opened up the show today by getting you up to speed on the latest numbers in association with COVID-19. He then moved on to discuss the passing of Mr. Tiger – Al Kaline. Longtime show friend and Tigers front office associate Dan Elve joined us over the phone to talk about the effect #6 had on the Tigers and the game of Baseball. Bill asked the Huge question of the day – who is your all-time favorite Tiger? We took our Insider’s answers along with the answers of the audience.
In our second hour we kept the conversation going about how Covid-19 is affecting the sports in our area. To kick off the second hour were were joined by the GR Griffins President Tim Gortsema to discuss what the Griffins Organization has been doing with this time away. Bill Hobson also joined us to discuss some Golf postponement, and much more.
In our final hour we were joined by the voice of the Griffins - Bob Kaser. He updated us on what he and his family have been up to, as well as how his ice cream/chocolate shops have been doing recently. To wrap up the show we were joined by the President and GM of the Great Lake Loons to hear about what they've been up to during this pandemic.
