Description
Today on the show we wanted to take a deeper look at the sports that have happening around us and how they been affected by this Covid-19 Pandemic. In our first hour we took a look at how Coach Peter Stuursma from Hope College has been handling everything since this started...More specifically Huge and Coach talked about the Hope Football team; what they've been doing to prepare, how they're staying safe, and much more.
In our final two hours we were joined by the Executive Director of the MHSAA – Mark Uyl. He came on the show to update the listener on what’s new with High School sports following the recent statement Governor Whitmer in regards to the rising numbers/cases and their effect on High School sports…There have been a few guidelines changes that are a little different than the last time we spoke with Mark. Bill and Mark discussed contingency plans, testing, fans in the stands, how Mark and his team are adjusting, and so much more. We got a brief update about the Ryder Cup from Mark Wilson. We were also joined by Jason Langwell to take a look back at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. And Bill wrapped up the broadcast with a tribute to Robert Kozminski who was killed in the line of duty 13 years ago today.
