Today we launch in Detroit on CBS Sports am1270, so the Huge Show is officially statewide! To commemorate the occasion we’re talking about all of our Detroit teams. Bill asked the Huge Question of the Day - What’s good about Detroit Sports right now? To kick off the second hour, we were joined by the Head Coach of the Detroit Redwings, Jeff Blashill. He gave us some insight into what it was like for him starting in Detroit as it’s also our first day! Blash also talked about what the off-season has been like for him and his team, what happened with the NHL Draft, and how Jeff stays focused and how he’s getting what he needs out of his players. We were then joined by the TV voice of the Tigers, Matt Shepard. Bill and Shep even briefly touched on the B10s announcement regarding their conference-only schedule. Huge and Shep then talked about the Tigers getting started as Opening Day is just around the corner.
