The Miami Hurricanes face the run-heavy attack from Southern Miss this Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium. Host Alex Donno breaks down Miami’s keys to the game. Mario Cristobal wants his defensive to be more disciplined, especially in the pass rush. The Hurricanes will face running back Frank Gore, Jr, who put up more than 200 yards of total offense against Liberty in Game 1. The Hurricanes will need to continue their momentum on the offensive line, who graded out best in Power 5 last week according to PFF College. Miami will get a boost from the season debut of left tackle Zion Nelson. 
Donno also wants to see Miami keep up their intensity for four full quarters even if backups are on the field late. This is the final warmup Miami gets before Texas A&M on the road in week 3. Miami needs to make the most of it. DL Akheem Mesidor could be an x-factor player in this game and so could wide receiver Key’Shawn Smith and tight end Will Mallory.
