Today on the show we discussed a variety of different sports topics as we head into this weekend. News broke before the show coming from the state government as they've placed some more restrictions on Michigan sports. We were joined by Jim Comparoni in our first hour to get a quick Spartan update, and to talk about the effects that these recent Covid restrictions are having on his players, and other young players alike. We were then joined by Lt Col Dan Rooney as "The American Dunes" golf course created by Jack Nicklaus, is only days away from opening. We talked with Dan about his journey up to this point. In our second hour we were joined by Hope College Head football coach Peter Stuursma so we could catch up with him and to talk about how his team is coming together at this point in time. We were then joined by Mark Uyl to talk some more about the restrictions handed down by the state. In our final hour we were joined by Grand Valley University Head football coach Matt Mitchell. Matt joined us to talk some more about these Covid restrictions, and to also update us on his team and how they've been handling everything. We wrapped up the broadcast with our friend Matt Golden from the Tullymore Resort in Canadian Lakes.
