What if each sports card manufacturer chose one product from each sport to print to order all season long?
This would address the high prices due to scarcity and lack of supply.  It would potentially boost sales for the manufacturer while at the same time continuing to “protect” values of all the other releases due to the continued “responsible” production levels they would continue to have.
