Description
Assalamu'alaikum! Welcome to our third episode of our December Series on "Convert Stories"! ??♂️??? Join us in this episode, jointly hosted by the dynamic duo Sister Hafizah and Sister Dini together with Pak Saleh, an Australian convert since the late 90s, who shares with us his convert story which started from his interest in science and observation of the Akhlaq and practices of the people in Malaysia leaving a positive impression on him ???♀️?
Pak Saleh also shares about his initial challenges upon conversion due to the changes in his identity, such as his way of dressing and hobbies. He advises fellow converts that change does not happen overnight and each Muslim's journey differs, especially since converts face a relatively “steep” learning curve of learning everything at a later age compared to born Muslims who get introduced to Islamic concepts since young. He reminds us all that these unique struggles to get closer to Allah are duly rewarded by Him, Alhamdulilah ??
