Description
MaidSafe are building the SAFE Network, a global data and communications network that will improve on the internet we all use today by bringing privacy, security and freedom to all. Many projects today are simply focused on blockchain-based solutions that look at storage alone. However, with the limitations of blockchain technology, this often means simply that the blockchain stores a pointer to data which still needs to be stored and secured offchain. The SAFE Network actually encrypts and stores the data itself – without a blockchain. The SAFE Network, which MaidSafe started building in 2006, is the world's first autonomous data network and removes any human intervention from the management of our information to protect the world's data.
