Attention then turned to the historical record as our 100 Seasons of BYU Football Countdown rolled into 1939 and an overachieving BYU Cougar squad led by Eddie Kimball surprised onlookers with a middle of the conference finish with four All-Conference athletes despite having a relatively youthful squad overall

Finally, the podcast wrapped up with updates on the transfer portal for BYU basketball with two athletes listing the Cougars among their finalists, former Cougar Elijah Bryant getting his shot in the NBA finally and former BYU defensive lineman Darius McFarland landing at Utah State after leaving the Cougars
