"Independence Week" rolled on Thursday as Jake Hatch talked about the first week of the NIL era for the BYU football program and what it could be for the Cougars in terms of benefits for their student-athletes, not just in football, but across the full BYU athletic department

Attention then went to the 100 Seasons of BYU Football Countdown with a look back at 1981 and Jim McMahon's senior season. McMahon's record-breaking career came to a close with a midseason knee injury hampering him, but not slowing him or the Cougars down all that much as they won the WAC and went to the Holiday Bowl once again

Finally, the show wrapped up with Uriah "Lopa" Leiataua Day and a look at the non-conference schedule for the BYU women's soccer program that was announced this week and features a number of prominent programs that will be making trips to South Field to take on Jennifer Rockwood's program
