Thursday on the podcast started out with a look back at 1996 in the 100 Seasons of BYU Football Countdown as Jake Hatch chronicled one of the legendary individual seasons in BYU football program history. He explained why that season means more to him than any previously and why he feels he's not alone in that assessment

Training camp position previews then took up the rest of the show beginning with a look at a combined three positions that comprise the interior of the offense line (guards and center). Jake explains why he is bullish on the interior trench play and expects them to lead the unit as James Empey and Clark Barrington step to the forefront

Finally, the show wrapped with a flip over to the defensive side of the football and a preview of the strong safety position as Jake talked about his sky-high expectations for Chaz Ah You as he returns from season-ending surgery and will be backed up with a number of solid athletes to fill in the gaps
