Laura Powers is the Director of Global Social Media Marketing at Cisco. With 25 years of experience, Laura’s career spans many facets of marketing, PR, and communications. In her current role, Laura has responsibility for executing the social media strategy across Cisco including company-wide social policies & digital training programs, social campaigns, listening, social selling, and online communities. 
 
Laura has been recognized for building world-class social programs and leading a high performing team that delivers award-winning campaigns, launches, and programs. Among her many accomplishments, Laura was honored with a Communicator Award from the International Academy of the Visual Arts.
 
Laura also serves as a board member at Hope Rising where she creates positive change through arts-related events that foster education and awareness about domestic violence.
