Feminist Question Time with speakers from Belarus, Panama, Canada and Luxembourg

Women's Declaration International (WDI) Feminist Question Time is our weekly online webinars. It is attended by a global feminist and activist audience of between 200-300. The main focus is how gender ideology is harming the rights of women and girls. You can see recordings of previous panels on our YouTube Channel.

This week’s speakers:

Pauline Kranendonk - Feminist activist living in Luxembourg: The pitfalls and dangers of using language doused in gender ideology and how to avoid it.

Nídia Paz - Panama: I am the mother of a 13-year-old adolescent, a sister and friend of many women, a popular educator, with training in law. Public advocacy practice for 30 years. An approximation look at the state of the art on the theory of gender self-determination in Panama. I will present data on the country and the situation of women, a reflection of the current environment to generate this debate socially and the critical view of some feminists on the theory of self-identification.

Kristina - Belarus: I’m young activist and feminist from Belarus. I study international relations in Belarusian State University. I love literature, history and painting and women, because they are wonderful! Study Korean, French and English. Through 2 years Belarus has become the centre of the world’s attention. However, I do not want to talk about politics, but I want to talk about women, because life of Belarusian women are not that bright and It has started many years ago(read centuries). And to show what we are doing for women!

felicia rembrandt - Canada: I am a founder of Gender Dissent, a Canadian feminist news website dedicated to exposing the power, influence and money driving the gender industry in Canada. Prior to starting this website I explored various feminist positions on my personal wordpress blog, a sledge and crowbar. But I became "politically active" only 2 or 3 years ago in response to reading about transactivism on Feminist Current. I will talk briefly about the Canadian context regarding gender ideology. Then the motivation and process of creating the website, Gender Dissent, the women who are part of the team, the types of articles we post. We post two types -- investigative journalism, and items that show Canadians resisting the imposition of gender ideology. Finally, how we are being received.
