Description

Dustie Waring is a guitarist in American progressive metal band Between The Buried And Me.  The North Carolina based band made a name for itself with its technical and groovy sound and their willingness to adapt and evolve with every album. The band recently released their tenth record 'Colors II',  which serves as a follow-up to their acclaimed 2007 release 'Colors'. We spoke with Dusty about not repeating themselves, songs that are difficult to play, working on an album during the pandemic, being proud of what you create, art that is willing to take risks, and a lot more! Interview by: Robin Hignell Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/FaceCulture)

FaceCulture is a daily-updated music platform for in-depth interviews, live sessions, and a lot more with your favorite artists. While we operate mainly on YouTube and other video services, with this podcast we wan't to enable people to listen to a selection of both old and new interviews whenever and however they prefer. A short disclaimer: Because a lot of our interviews are conducted at festivals, music venues, hotels, restaurants, and the like, the quality of the audio isn't always in our full control, so please bare with us when the sound quality doesn't always match that of other podcasts. Having said that, we do want to provde the listener with as comfortable a listening experiences as possible, so not every interview that we do as FaceCulture will find its way to the podcast. All interviews we do are still available on www.youtube.com/faceculture. Thanks for your continued support!
