Description

This is a novelization of a play written in the 1920s a mix of slapstick comedy and cozy mystery. It features the spunky, wealthy Miss Cornelia Van Gorder. When she, her maid, and her niece take a fully staffed country home for the summer they find it belonged to the recently passed banker they find themselves on the hunt of and being hunted by The Bat. A notorious murderer and burglar who's eluded the police and is working in the vicinity of the country estate.
