On today's show, we're looking at the 2022 world Series representatives, the Philadelphia Phillies & Houston Astros, to see how they built their rosters. The Houston Astros are a success story of scouting and development, with only 3 free agents on their 40-man roster and great production from drafted (3B Alex Bregman) and international free agent (2B Jose Altuve) players . The Philadelphia Phillies have a few more free agents, like NL Home Run leader Kyle Schwarber and slugger Bryce Harper, but they have also made strategic trades for impact talent (like getting catcher JT Realmuto from the Marlins in 2019). We close the show by looking at some of the impact rookies/prospects in the series, headlined by Astros SS Jeremy Pena.
