Texas Tech and Baylor play in the BUTT bowl this Saturday. If you did not know, that is B-U (Baylor University) and T-T (Texas Tech) combined into BUTT. This series favors the Bears 40-39-1. If you think about it, though, and you take out all the years the Bears were bad, Baylor is really 40-0-1 against Texas Tech. That is a perfect, undefeated record, and Red Raider fans can't take that away.
Joey McGuire against Dave Aranda is also a fun storyline. McGuire actually was an assistant for Aranda at Baylor — who knew?! That makes this game even more interesting. Texas Tech and Baylor both throw tortillas. Both universities are known to be in towns that don't have the best reputation. Buddy Holly hates Lubbock. Steve Martin hates Waco. This game will be fun.
