Description

This was supposed to be our 'arrival' podcast at Liverpool's South Bend training base in Indiana. But missed and delayed flights mean Ian Doyle and Kristian Walsh, at the time of recording, find themselves hanging around in LaGuardia Airport. But their desperation for a well-deserved pint aside, the pair are in chipper mood as they provide their first tour diary entry from America. On the agenda, apart from the weather, in-flight entertainment, and kicking toddlers (not actually kicking toddlers), is the venue for the Reds' opening friendly, the difference between now and tours past and why no member of Jurgen Klopp's squad is likely to be pulled away from training for a Dunkin' Donuts meet and greet, plus the return of some of the big hitters. However, news broke before this podcast was recorded that Klopp will be without his feared front three for a little while longer yet and that leads to an interesting discussion over Rhian Brewster, Harry Wilson and Ryan Kent.
