There are a few members of the Boston Red Sox who are eligible for qualifying offers...will they get one?
NESN's Lauren Willand dives into what a qualifying offer is and who on the Red Sox could be offered one. Lauren goes into why some players should (or should not) be extended one and why it would be wise for some to accept it if they are indeed tendered one. Players include J.D. Martinez, Nathan Eovaldi, Michael Wacha and (potentially) Xander Bogaerts should he opt out of his contract.
