- Transitioning existing staff to new roles can provide more capable team members than direct external hiring.

- Talent leaders must always be willing to reevaluate their standard operating procedures, scrapping them entirely and starting over if necessary.

- An organizational story is best told with supporting data and analytics.

Some of these measures may seem extreme but the new hiring landscape brought about by Covid has created an extreme environment. Some drastic measures may be necessary to remain competitive in this radically transformed recruitment world.
