Description

Welcome back to another episode of the Women of FinTech. Today, Nadia is joined by the fantastic Tiama Hanson-Drury, CPO at Minna Technologies. Tiama is an internationally-recognised product leader, board director, c-suite exec, public speaker, corporate adviser and leadership mentor. Her Chief Product Officer experience spans the US and European roles in large multi-national and high-growth tech scale-ups. She is here today to share her story and some of the lessons and learns along the way. From starting in sales to moving to product marketing and eventually to product director, Tiama's career journey has taught her all about knowing your worth and advocating for yourself in a dynamic industry. Tiama also shares her thoughts on the importance of building diverse product teams to build innovative products that focus on a wide range of challenges and people. Finally, the pair talk about modern issues surrounding female empowerment and the mentality towards advocating for yourself in a male-dominated workplace. From her own success, she is driven to help others achieve their career goals and actively mentors women across the globe. This episode is full of tangible action we can all take to empower ourselves and others.
