Description

Episode 52
Bob Sturm of the Ticket’s The Hardline
Welcome back to the show ATO family.
This episode the Assist the Officer Foundation sits down with the Sturminator himself, Bob Sturm of KTCK The Ticket.
Bob is a long time first responder supporter as he has a unique family connection with various types of law enforcement across the country.
Bridging the Divide host Joe has maintained a friendship with Sturm that goes back to 1999 as he had his first ride along with DPD and, admittedly, we flew a little to close to the sun that day with Bob’s safety as he was a passenger in the team’s “Trojan Horse” van.
Sturm’s big sports brain has fascinated Ticket fans since he was hired in 1998. His talents also caught a certain Dallas Legend’s eye as the great Troy Aikman summoned Bob for a visit that turned into a job.
This guest is much more than just a sports genius as Bob and his family discovered their true  “why” and purpose as they took a leap of faith and saved a life with an international adoption of an incredible young son.
Bob Sturm covers the Dallas Cowboys for The Athletic. He has written about the team for over two decades while also hosting talk shows for 96.7 The Ticket in DFW and can be heard on "The Hardline" from 3-7 p.m. M-F.
During his time in Dallas, he has also written about the Cowboys for The Dallas Morning News, D Magazine and Fox Sports.
