We are well into summer here and, although we are loving the weather, summer can be a challenge for working parents. Schools out, which means no homework, YAY and possibly less sports and a little more time on our hands. It also means summer camp or kids home from school during the day. You may be trying to navigate adjusted schedules, working from home, being remote or some combination with a hybrid schedule. Certainly these past few years have led to flexibility and demanded changes in the way that we show up to work, whether it’s driving in or logging on… combine that with kids out for the summer and you can have a recipe for overwhelm, blurred boundaries, and a summer that’s lacking in fun. Today I’m sharing 5 tips to survive… and possibly even thrive and have some fun this summer!
