Description
For a few years, Patrick has wondered who in the great Golden State Warriors-San Antonio Spurs analogy will be the W's "Kawhi Leonard" – that young player that will take the reigns from the Hall of Fame trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green and be the bridge between eras and extend the dynasty for another decade. On a team with a wealth of young talent, Patrick discusses how Jordan Poole has stood up and laid claim to that mantle. However, the big difference between the W's and Spurs, is that Golden State has 3 recent lottery picks in Jonathan Kuminga, James Wiseman, and Moses Moody to bridge that gap as well. The next era of W's basketball looks again to have been built 100% through the draft. Patrick also discusses the REAL next death lineup with Kuminga replacing Andrew Wiggins and how Klay is looking like normal Klay so far.
