Grand strategy 4X games are incredibly difficult to get right as to tackle them while trying to avoid the sense of actually pushing numbers around in a spread sheet and not creating a vast and stable empire is no mean feat. Praxis Games, the developers of Interstellar Space: Genesis have embarked on this not inconsiderable task and they have done an exceptional job of creating a game that not only affords a sense of achievement to the player but also credits them with a significant amount of intelligence.
