Description
After a shock Matchday 1 defeat to Japan, Germany have kept their FIFA World Cup ambitions alive following a 1-1 draw with Spain.
The result leaves Louis Enrique's side atop of Group E with four points, with Japan and Costa Rica on three, separated by goal difference. So while Germany remain bottom of the table with a solitary point, they know a victory over Costa Rica will see them into the knockout stages if Spain defeat Japan.
Breaking this game down are Arne Barez, Harry Lowe and Chris Loxston from FIFA. Pascal Zuberbühler, Jürgen Klinsmann and Sunday Oliseh are on hand with the expert analysis.
