Three of LSU football's backup offensive linemen have entered the transfer portal in the past week: redshirt senior tackle Cam Wire who earned a starting job at the beginning of the season but lost his spot after the Florida State loss, redshirt junior tackle Marcus Dumervil who was a highly rated recruit coming out of high school but has struggled to earn a starting spot in his three years at LSU, and most recently Xavier Hill who saw some playing time against New Mexico, Auburn, and Tennessee this year. While almost all of LSU's offensive linemen are returning for 2023, at least for right now, how will LSU add depth to the offensive line next season?
Brian Kelly's staff has four offensive linemen coming in 2023 including their highest rated recruit, five star offensive tackle Zalance Heard out of Neville High School in Monroe and four star tackle Tyree Adams from St. Aug in New Orleans. Will that be enough to fill the gaps and add depth for the 2023 Tigers in the trenches?
