Description

[Comment: Intercession]
Friends of the Rosary:
This Monday of Holy Week, while we examine our conscience, we read in the Scriptures the passage of Mary of Bethany anointing Jesus with costly perfume, and Judas the Iscariot reproaching her (Jn 12:1-11).
Judas, the disciple who would betray Jesus, said: “Why was this oil not sold for three hundred days’ wages and given to the poor?”
St. John the Evangelist explained: “He said this not because he cared about the poor
but because he was a thief.”
Jesus Himself said: “You always have the poor with you, but you do not always have me.”
The Scriptures contain the full revelation of the universal truth. All human dysfunctionality and offenses to the Eternal Father are explained and exposed.
Today, in the name of the poor, godless people are trying to engineer a new society. Like Judas, the Iscariot, many of these rulers, promoters of deceitful ideologies, are just denying the divinity of Jesus Christ — true man and true God.
We ask forgiveness and invoke our most gracious advocate, the Blessed Virgin Mary, to intercede for us.
Ave Maria!
