[Comment: Embracing Divine Will]
Friends of the Rosary:
Jesus and Mary listen to all the prayers of the faithful. However, how unfathomable it is, we are unable to understand the Divine Will.
My wife Maria Blanca, who is under intense pain day after day in the ICU of burned patients, was yesterday concerned about the faith of those who might be disappointed if she doesn’t recover. This was her preoccupation. “If I die, those who are praying now might blame God,” she said to me very sad. “And this is unfair.”
Jesus Christ prayed in the Garden knowing what was ahead, and despite his sorrowful passion, He fully embraced the Father’s will. The Blessed Virgin Mary did exactly the same.
Countless saints and anonymous individuals have offered their suffering for the salvation of souls. Life is eternal and great rewards await those who remain close to Jesus and Mary.
