As Christmastime arrives, the non-conference portion of the college basketball season is coming to an end. Isaac Schade and Leif Thulin present their non-conference superlatives for National Player of the Year (to this point), National Freshman of the Year, and 1st Team All-Americans. Thulin goes with Zach Edey and Brandon Miller for the individual awards while Schade selects Drew Timme and Gradey Dick.
Next, the guys have a “12 Days of Teams” segment where they discuss what top 12 AP teams are “gifts” they want to keep, return, or try on. Thulin goes with Houston, Alabama, and Tennessee while Schade selects Arizona, Purdue, and Texas.
Finally, the guys discuss an uninspiring Christmas weekend of games, plus “We 3 Coaches” in which they choose three coaches to build a new coaching staff around. Thulin’s head coach is Tony Bennett while Schade goes with Bill Self. Who are the other two for each team? Tune in to find out.
