Arch Manning has a strong argument for the most hyped high school prospect of all time, especially in this era where we glorify everything recruiting related, and we have people that are dedicated to covering it 24/7. The only prospects in recent memory that have even garnered the level of attention that Arch Manning has gotten since middle school would be the likes of Lebron James and Zion Williamson. Really great company. Now with Arch Manning being on campus, some of the propaganda regarding Arch can actually begin to turn into on the field football talk. The Texas Longhorns have a very interesting situation on their hands in 2023, coming in with three very talented quarterbacks on the depth chart that bring a lot of intrigue. Although Quinn Ewers didn't have the redshirt freshman season that most, including me expected, he is still one of the highest graded recruits to ever come out of high school and the arm talent speaks for itself. There is a ton of room for optimism to believe that he will enter the conversation as one of the best signal callers in college football this year. Maalik Murphy, the very talented QB from California who has the body of a grown man, is now entering his second year in the system and has a lot to prove. Although Ewers and Manning have all the hype, Murphy was the first of the trio to commit to the Longhorns and has a cannon for a right arm.
