In the age of streaming and digital media, the major question I always get asked as a movie collector is why I still buy physical copies of movies and tv shows on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K UHD. Here is my philosophy behind my collecting habits, why I collect, the importance of physical media, and some of the reasons why I think we are due for a resurgence in physical movie collections and home theaters in the future.
