After getting a degree in Comparative Literature, he started his career as a programmer at Apple and then moved to designing and building trading systems, which led to a top management role at J.P. Morgan, where he was responsible for JPM Coin. Shortly after Stuart launched Kadena, a layer 1 blockchain, and created PACT, a smart contract language.
