Wednesday was National Signing Day and all we heard across LSU headlines were crickets. This was the first year ever in LSU's history that the program did not sign a single recruit in the February period. Which may sound like a cause for concern for a program that needs to add depth at several positions, but on todays edition of Locked On LSU Caroline Fenton breaks down why the lack of headlines is totally fine and Tiger fans should not be concerned.
LSU signed 25 recruits in the early signing period along with eleven players in the transfer portal. Even with 36 new faces coming into the program, Brian Kelly and company have five remaining scholarships to dole out to potential candidates. The transfer portal period is closed and the 2023 recruiting class seems to be wrapped up, so which position groups should LSU target in the spring transfer portal period to fill each scholarship spot?
