LSU did not sign a player for 2023 on National Signing Day but with the 36 newcomers next season, 25 from high school and 11 via the transfer portal, they didn't really need to. However, five scholarship spots remain and there are elements of the defense that absolutely can be improved from now until September when the Tigers take the field against Florida State to kickoff the season.
